Event Details

NACDL has established a Task Force on Restoration of Rights and Status after Conviction to explore how legal mechanisms for relief from the collateral consequences of conviction are essentially working in state and federal systems, and to develop comprehensive proposals for reform. As part of our plan to meet the Task Force’s objectives, NACDL has been convening hearings in various cities, inviting local individuals working on, or affected, by collateral consequences of a conviction to provide testimony to our 8 member Task Force.

The Task Force will hold hearings at NACDL Washington, DC offices on Wednesday February 20, 2013, Thursday February 21 and Friday February 22, 2013.

The event is open to the public, but you must RSVP as space is very limited
